My mother has been living at Bearbrook Retirement Residence for over two years. She is very happy. The staff to resident ratio is very good. This place is small enough that the staff get to know all the residents. Food is pretty good Staff is pleasant.

After an illness, I decided to spend a month at Bearbrook to rest and relax. I very much enjoyed my stay in a respite suite. The room was large and comfortable Staff were friendly, accommodating, and always had time for a chat with residents. The food was very good and varied, with soup, appetizers, desserts and two specials at each meal, as well as an a la carte menu I drive, and went out daily, but there were many organized activities and weekly outings available for residents who spent more time there. The gym, pool table, sunroom, library and laundry facilities were great to have. I was impressed with Covid protection protocols and always felt safe. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
